Description:
This vintage Drexel Heritage Et Cetera Collection flip-top sideboard bar is a striking example of late 1970s American Chinoiserie design, blending Asian-inspired artistry with functional entertaining furniture. The front panels feature beautifully carved and inlaid natural wood scenes depicting traditional pagoda landscapes, birds, and lush flora, all set against a deep, glossy black lacquer frame accented with gold trim along the edges and base. Intricate geometric and floral border motifs frame each panel, adding layers of visual depth and craftsmanship that were hallmarks of the Et Cetera line.
The ingenious flip-top design allows the surface to expand outward on both sides, nearly doubling the available serving area — an ideal feature for cocktail parties, buffet-style dining, or use as a dedicated home bar.
