March In-store event > We'll be hosting a Spring Market & Open House on Saturday, March 16th, from 4-6pm. Take advantage of up to 20% off select consigned items; browse our dealer spaces for sales; get organizing tips from special guest Kate Boles of Karma Kloset Home Organizers; and learn about how to consign furniture and home decor with our store.

March in-store weekend sale > We'll be running a 20% off sale on consigned furniture with a storage component on Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th. Look for consigned items with a green dot. And browse the store to see which of our 25+ dealers are also running sales, including: dealer 339, Vintage Market 352, dealer 398, Remember When, Arise Bazaar, Lulu M. Dean Antiques, and Lowery's Dial.

February Multiday Sale on Pairs and a Market Day Shopping Event

Our in-store sale on consigned items sold in pairs started on Valentine's Day and ran through President's Day (February 14-19). And on Saturday, February 17, we hosted a Presidents' Day Market from 4-6pm.

Super Bowl Weekend Sale

We had an in-store only sale on our super selection of consigned bowls this Super Bowl weekend. Take 20% off. 

December Holiday Market

On Saturday, December 9th, from 3-6pm, shoppers were treated to exclusive in-store sales on our eclectic selection of contemporary, vintage, and antique consigned furniture and home decor. Select dealers throughout Evolution Home served fun holiday-themed refreshments and offered special seasonal discounts. 

October 2023 Drop-in

On Saturday, October 7th, Evolution Home dealers the Mod Factory hosted an event in their expanded booth space. Customers were invited to explore the world of Mid Century Modern and Scandinavian design with Mod Factory owners and furniture restoration specialists Ashley and Eddie. 

September 2023 First Friday

Kate Boles of Karma Kloset Home Organizers shared tips on how to find your zen through the process of minimizing, organizing, and prioritizing the contents of your home. Kate is a former Consignment Manager at Evolution Home. In 2021, she shifted her career focus to working with clients of all ages on home organization and downsizing projects.

August 2023 First Friday

DC-area wedding planner Sara Bauleke of Bella Notte shared her approach to designing tablescapes, which centers around juxtaposing interesting table-top pieces to create contemporary and layered designs. Layering patterns and bringing modern and vintage elements together creatively to create welcoming and captivating table settings is a joyful aspect of Sara's work, as she views it as an opportunity to reframe the way people view the objects on the table.

July 2023 First Friday

Evolution Home dealer Mike Curry discussed the history of jewelry and how jewelry trends reflect economic changes, world events, and cultural shifts. 

June 2023 First Friday

Evolution Home dealer Richard Green talked about 18th and 19th century household objects made from metals like pewter, brass, copper, and iron. He shared his advice on how to care for and clean these metals. And he spoke about how these metals were fashioned into household objects like bowls, candlesticks, kitchen pots, and fireplace tools.

May 2023 First Friday

Paul MacLardy of Arise Bazaar spoke about vintage Japanese garments, including kimonos and obis, as well as woodblock prints. He is the co-author of the book “Kimono, Vanishing Tradition: Japanese Textiles of the 20th Century.” He noted that as kimonos disappear from contemporary Japanese wardrobes, they are becoming increasingly collectible.

April 2023 First Friday

Maggie Delahoyde of Lowery’s Dial and Nancye Lewis of Rabbit Run Designs spoke about interior design best practices for incorporating vintage furniture and decor into your home. They recommend that you buy what you really love, mix up textures and styles, let statement pieces shine, and that the little things are the big things.

March 2023 First Friday

Rick Schneider of Magpie Reclamations spoke about how you can live more sustainably by incorporating vintage furniture and accents into your home. “Buying vintage reduces the production of new furniture, diverts vintage pieces from the landfill, and shrinks the community’s carbon footprint — all while introducing a unique historical piece into your personal design aesthetic,” he said.
